Low FODMAP Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread

Don't let the season pass without using that on-sale zucchini in this yummy way! 👩🏻‍🍳


Zucchini bread is a great way to get in some greens without even noticing! It's especially great when zucchini is in season and so flavorful and cheap!! You almost can't resist adding it to this sweet loaf. Don't forget to sweeten it up even more with some dark chocolate chips!

Low FODMAP Notes

  1. Instead of the applesauce, I used lactose free greek yogurt and it worked perfectly!! Sally does put this possible substitution in parentheses so it truly is a very tried and true substitution.

  2. I added chocolate chunks as is an option. I used dark chocolate chunks which are lower in lactose content!

  3. I ended up only using 1 cup of zucchini and just slightly reduced the amount of the rest of the ingredients. Zucchini is low-fodmap at 1/3 cup so the serving per slice )even with the recipe recommended amount) should be just fine. however, I reduced it just to be even safer.
