You have to try the easiest summer treat with all your favorite flavors! The graham cracker crust provides a great base for a truly amazing mix of chocolate and butterscotch with the tang of coconut. Plus the crunch of the walnuts! Everyone will be hooked.

7 Layer Bars

Ingredients

Yield: 12 Bars

Time: 45 Mins

Include everything your reader needs to make this recipe perfectly, with measurements, optional additions, or alternatives. For example:

  • ¾ (6 tbsp) stick of unsalted butter, melted

  • 5 graham crackers (crushed)

  • ¾ cup of dark chocolate chips

  • ¾ cup of butterscotch chips

  • ¾ cup of coconut flakes

  • ¾ cup of chopped walnuts

  • 5 oz OWYN vanilla protein drink (or other lactose free vanilla drink of choice)

  • 1 tablespoon of Fage lactose free greek yogurt

  • 9x5 loaf pan

  • Parchment Paper


Directions

Directions should always be short and to the point.

  1. Line the loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl

  3. Crush graham crackers into a fine crumb using a rolling pin and plastic sandwich bag.

  4. Transfer crumbs to mixing bowl and combine with graham cracker crumbs until you have a damp grahman cracker mixture.

  5. Press the graham cracker mixture evenly into the bottom of the loaf pan.

  6. In the following order, sprinkle the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut shavings, and chopped walnuts on top of the graham cracker base.

  7. In the mixing bowl whisk together OWYN drink and greek yogurt (it thickens it a tiny bit).

  8. Pour the yogurt and protein drink mixture onto the bars in the loaf pan.

  9. Bake for 30-35 mins until top looks golden brown.

  10. Let the bars cool for at least 15 minutes and then transfer to refridgerator and let them cool for another 30 mins at least. Then you can cut the bars as desired.


Store in the fridge for a week or freeze for up to 6 months. If freezing them let them defrost for about 2 hours in the fridge before enjoying!
