Banana Chocolate Chip Bars

You will absolutely want to try these super easy and delicious Banana Chocolate chip bars! I baked them for national banana bread day as I wanted banana with a little twist! Plus this bar version was easier to give to co-workers with whom I was planning to share on Monday. They loved them! The sweet banana goes perfectly with the dark chocolate for such a classic pairing. They are so simple to make with common baking ingredients and some banana!

I made them more Low FODMAP by using a yellow bananas rather than an overripe banana and also using dark chocolate chips rather than milk chocolate chips. You can also use dairy-free chocolate chips to make this recipe dairy-free! I also baked them for less time than the recipe suggests ~25 minutes rather than 33-37. I would also recommend fridge storage especially to keep the sugars lower with the banana.
