Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Sweet and easy to start your morning!


I had been craving coffee cake for a while. I remembered a crumb/coffee that a friend made a while back and how simple yet delicious it was! I looked for a similar recipe and found this! I am very pleased. It is moist and flavorful. The streusel topping makes all the difference! Try it for yourself with the recipe link below!

Moist cake with a cinnamon sugar filling and a cinnamon streusel topping to cap it all off! Layer and enjoy! It is so easy to make and bake! A great dish to make for brunch or a lunch treat for a group.

Stored covered in foil and lasted for 4-5 days (before it was eaten! :)


Low FODMAP Notes

  • I used almond milk in place of regular milk and it worked perfectly well!

  • You can also substitute almond flour or a mix of almond/coconut flour to alleviate any fructan issues in normal AP flour.

  • I actually halved the recipe to make a smaller amount and it made about 8-10 slices (depending on how big you cut) with which I was very satisfied! However, I made this for a small amount of people. The regular recipe would work for a larger group or several days for breakfast for sure!
