It's Great British Bake Off Time again! For Cake Week-we went straight to the mini sandwich cakes!
These easy and delicious oats will satisfy any sweet tooth in the morning and provide great nourishment as well. The serving size is smaller and is meant for a snack rather than a whole breakfast! Don't let this easy and delicious recipe pass you by!

Mini Sandwich cakes are such a cute and easy treat! Let this overnight oats be your breakfast/snack equivalent! It packs a lot of flavor and includes great sustaining nutrients. We have whole grains from the oats, fiber from the chia seeds, protein from the protein powder and milk, and good fats from the nuts! Plus some sweetness from some great fruits and jelly!
Ingredients
1/4 cup of oats (I used Kroger Brand)
1/4 scoop of protein powder of choice ( I used Naked Brown Rice Protein)
1/2 tbsp of chia Seeds (I used Bob's Red Mill)
1 tbsp of jam/jelly of choice ( I used Smucker's natural blueberry)
1/4 cup lactose free milk of choice (I used Fair Life, skim)
To make it bigger/add more protein you can add 1/4 tablespoon of Lactose free greek yogurt as well ( I did not include, but would have used Fage Lactose free greek yogurt)
Leave in Jar/Bowl in the refrigerator overnight
Toppings
(all optional-feel free to change up yours based on your tastes)
Silvered almonds (to your liking)
Small handful of blueberries or fruit of choice (use monash app for serving sizes)
Small sprinkle of chopped Walnuts (to your liking)
Dash of Cinnamon
Sprinkle of Powdered sugar on top for that mini sandwich cake look!
Try it!
